Privacy Policy

Short version: the files you open in our tools never leave your device. We do not upload, store or see them. Accounts are optional.

Your files

All processing happens in your browser using WebCodecs and WebAssembly. File contents are not transmitted to VideoToolsFlow or any third party.

Optional accounts

You can use every tool without an account. If you choose to create one, we store your email address, the name you give us, a securely hashed version of your password (we never store the password itself) and the date you joined. While you are signed in, we also keep a history of the conversions you run: the tool used, the file names, the file sizes and the date. We never receive or store the files themselves. This data is kept on our own hosting, is not sold or shared, and is used only to show you your account and history.

You can remove single history entries or clear your whole history at any time on the My account page, and you can delete your account there, which permanently removes your details and history. Signing in sets a cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days, and a small cookie that tells our pages you are signed in. To reset a forgotten password we send an email to your address with a link that works for one hour.

Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies at aboutads.info. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Server logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) for security and to diagnose problems. These logs do not contain your files.

Offline cache

The site uses a service worker to cache its own pages and code so tools load faster and work offline. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13.
